As of November 1, 2021, the rates for counseling at Wells Counseling Services will be as follows:

Our hope is to stay comparable with the area market. We also underscore our understanding of the importance of having a significant and hopefully transforming counseling experience - individual, marriage, family, or student. We also hope to offer evening hours and to seek on-site counseling opportunities at future partners' sites. More will follow on each as they open up their schedules

Wells Counseling Services now accepts BCBS insurance because we have just been added to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas insurance panel. Finishing their enrollment process allows us to broaden our efforts to meet the needs of more people in the Brazos Valley and surrounding counties. Currently, David Wells is the only WCS member on the BCBSTX PPO panels.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Credentialing is per provider. Please check your coverage by asking the following questions before scheduling:

  • What are my mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is my coverage per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • What, if any, is the required copay?

We are only in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas PPOs. We are out of network providers for all other insurance.

In case you don't have BCBS, we offer an invoice pdf document configured to meet the needs of your insurance company's out-of-network reimbursement policy that may be downloaded from our portal's billing section.

Payment is due in full at the time of service unless covered by participating insurance plans.
